The F4000, FM-Approved fire service meter meets the requirements of utilities that specify AWWA Type II Fire Service devices. The F4000 incorporates in one assembly a FM-Approved Fire Service Strainer, AWWA Class II Turbine Meter for deluge flows, C700 PD meter for low and normal flow measurement, and a check valve to direct flows to the appropriate measuring chamber.
To minimize the cost of recommended servicing, the F4000's externally loaded spring valve offers the convenience of check valve inspection and manipulation without any disruption of customer service and its modular construction allows field replacement of either measurement chamber without service disruption
